These are some of my favorite images I took for July for the From Where I Stand Project. It's so fun to see what these talented ladies post every week. Click on each image to see all of the photographs for that week.
Today is my youngest child's 3rd birthday! Cole is such a blessing to us. I love how individual and unique every one of my children are. I assumed having another boy would be much the same since I already had one. Boy, was I wrong.
Violette Field Threads has done it again. It seem the designers are constantly upping their game and it challenges me to keep up. The testers in our group are all so creative and uplifting and I love the comradary we share. When I first saw this pattern I didn't know w...
My sister has a tradition of hosting a 4th of July party at her house. We always gather there because her city allows fireworks and party planning is one of my sister's great strengths. We always have such a great time and this year was no exception.
Finally they made a pattern with my daughter's name! Well almost, it's spelled a little differently but it was only a matter of time, right? They're turning out patterns so quickly these days. Kaitlynn is so trendy and sweet! And surprisingly quick and easy to sew. We...
I love being a pattern tester for Violette Field Threads! Sewing is one of my greatest joys (aside from photography) and testing patterns lets me combine two of my favorite things. Katelyn has grown into a wonderful model and is always such a good sport.
I hadn't seen Julie in a few years and it was such a wonderful surprise when she contacted me to photograph her family on a quick trip to Southern California. She used to work at the crisis pregnancy center I would do volunteer photo sessions for a few times a year. S...
This spring night was gorgeous! How I love to see new life growing and the glow from expectant mamas. The big sisters are so excited to have another sibling join them. One was wishing for a boy and the other for a girl. I wonder who will win?
Leo's Mama had a great idea for a 1st birthday "Where the Wild Things Are" set up for his photo session. She made the tent and the crown and I love how it all came together. He wasn't feeling well but you wouldn't have known because he's such a happy little guy.
Lennon has a great name and and awesome head of curls to go with it. He want to run up hill and loved meeting new bug friends on our session, including a huge fuzzy caterpillar. Those gorgeous eyes and long lashes are to die for!
