    Week 3

    We've made it to 3 weeks old and boy has everyone gotten huge! They are taking longer naps now and don't need to nurse all day anymore. Even the little guys are gaining on the bigger ones and all doing really well. A few have opened their eyes which was really exciting. Their ears are sticking out more and their fur is thicker. They all seem to have positions in the pile that they prefer. Some are usually on the bottom, others on the top, and two of them love to be upside dow

    I'ts been 2 weeks since their birthday and everyone is settling into a schedule of eating and napping. Millie is able to leave them for short breaks and is eating and drinking with a hearty appetite. She's loving all of the extra chicken and broth in her diet. She's also been taking her postnatal supplements easily. The pups have all grown significantly! We're trying to figure out personalities but they really don't do much yet besides eat and sleep and yipe loudly. :) Indian

    Mildred had her first litter of 8 beautiful pups on March 23, 2021. They are all nursing wonderfully and Millie is doing great! It was a very special experience to help her birth them and she's a great momma. There are 3 boys and 5 girls. Miss White came out first and has been very vocal. It seems that the girls are the largest of the bunch besides tiny Miss Pink. Their colors vary from white to a warm honey. It will be interesting to see how that changes as they grow. They b
